As my first job in Berlin, I was tasked with redesigning a blue-collar job searching application. WorkerHero is a job search app designed to connect blue-collar workers with potential employers. This project required me to not only bring a fresh design perspective, but also create my first Design System in Figma. Overall, I am proud of the work I did on this project and the positive impact it has had on the user experience of the job searching application.
I wanted to bring a fresh and vibrant look to the user interface. I chose a bright yellow color as the primary color, which helped to create a bold and energetic visual style. I also took a brutalist approach, focusing on simplicity and functionality, to make the application easy to use and navigate.
Delivery
As a designer, I was proud to contribute to the company by using my skills and expertise to create a Design System using atomic design, redesign their previous product, and add an extra layer of charm and personality with my digital illustrations.
