Lumiform
Lumiform is a Berlin-based software company that provides digital solutions for quality and safety management across a wide range of industries. Their platform helps teams worldwide streamline inspections, audits, and workflows through easy-to-use mobile and web tools.
As the product designer at Lumiform, I was part of a small, fast-moving team focused on building digital tools for quality and safety management. I led end-to-end design efforts, from user research and flow definition to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI. Working closely with product and development teams, I helped shape a scalable design system and planned usability tests to ensure our solutions were intuitive and effective. The international and fast-paced environment pushed me to think critically, work independently, and design with clarity and purpose.
Redesigning their website
Lumiform recently redesigned its website, moving away from a more playful, colorful startup style to a clean, modern look that better reflects the company’s maturity and focus. As the main designer behind the new site, I led the shift toward a more structured, user-friendly interface that highlights clarity, functionality, and trust. The new design supports Lumiform’s mission to deliver professional, intuitive tools for quality and safety management to a global audience.
Design system
Like many early-stage startups, Lumiform didn’t have an established design system when I joined. To bring consistency and efficiency to our product development, I took the lead in organizing all existing UI elements and created a scalable design system from scratch. This not only helped unify the product’s visual language but also made collaboration with developers much smoother, ensuring faster implementation and a more cohesive user experience across the platform.
A cleaner look
During my time at Lumiform, I was deeply involved in shaping new features from concept to launch. I worked closely with product managers and developers to define user flows, improve onboarding, and enhance the overall usability of the platform. A big part of my focus was refining the visual language to create a cleaner, more modern UI and ensuring consistency throughout the application. These efforts helped improve both the user experience and the internal workflow for maintaining and scaling the product
